Section 42 Program Requirements

Applicants must meet the following requirements:

Household income may not exceed the applicable gross annual income limit, which varies based on household size and composition.
Applicants must provide two consecutive months of pay stubs as proof of income.
A valid government-issued photo identification is required for all applicants.
Background and credit checks are required for all applicants.
The household cannot be composed entirely of full-time students. At least one household member must meet the applicable Section 42 program requirements for non-student status or qualify under an applicable student exemption
